With the mission to promote peace through world travel and cultural tourism, GrassRoutes urban eco-travel guides give travelers the freedom to come to his or her own conclusion about a place. The guides incorporate a multiplicity of experiences for all ages and interests. Designed both for locals and international visitors, these guides provide people with the tools to see more places and expand their understanding. Through exploring locally then globally, understanding leads to communication, which in turn leads to peace. Our current series of urban eco-travel guidebooks feature both less-traditional travel destinations and major destinations, aiming to break down the tourist infrastructure and open up the local side of the place, in addition to green road trip guides that feature routes traversed via public transit, road bike or electric/bio diesel or hybrid.
